Engineering Intern

Primary Purpose:
An intern is an undergraduate student pursuing an engineering or science degree program.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support engineering through internship.
• Assist on projects as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

• Must be a "US Person" as defined through ITAR and EAR regulations.
• Must be an active student pursuing an accredited engineering or science degree program.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Able to work well with production employees, supervisors, managers and customers.
• Excellent math skills and proficient with use of statistical analysis tools.
• Able to work effectively and simultaneously on numerous projects.
• Must be able to lift 30 lbs with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Must be willing to undergo a pre-employment background check.
• Must be willing to participate in pre-employment and periodic drug screening.

Work Conditions:

• The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate but the employee will be exposed to higher noise levels when required to be in manufacturing areas. The individual may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, machinery, and vehicles when in the manufacturing areas. Personal Protection Equipment will be provided as needed.

Schedule:

• Day shift, in-person.
  • Assignment is anticipated to run from May 2024-August 2024.
• Must be flexible with schedule.
• Overtime as offered or needed.
